Carroll County Animal Shelter currently provided housing for stray dogs and puppies only. Unfortunately, the facility is not equipped to accommodate cats at this time. In accordance with county ordinance, all dogs over six months of age must be licensed.


The cost of a dog license is $5.00, and licenses are renewed annually on July 1st. You can obtain a license at the County Animal Shelter during normal business hours. Enclose $5 and mail it to:
